The City of Atlanta has confirmed that the Findley Plaza bid package is complete. It had been previously delayed when they bundled two sidewalk projects from Inman Park with Findley Plaza, but there are no more projects being added at this point. The project has been formally submitted to the City's Office of Procurement, and advertised as of April 15th. We look forward to potential construction bids that are due May 13th. The project will be awarded by mid-June with an estimated construction schedule of 9 months.
During this delay, GDOT has been able to move forward on reconstructing the new curb and bulb-out along Findley Plaza in coordination with the City of Atlanta. This has also served as a cost savings for the Plaza project.
