L5P Logo

The L5P Alliance is thrilled to announce an exclusive logo license agreement for the R.Land L5P logo to promote the neighborhood and raise funds towards initiatives.

“The L5P logo was originally designed as my personal homage to the village of Little Five Points, a domain I’ve proudly worked, lived and played in for many years. I wanted the logo to be a simple, iconic emblem that people who identify with the unique district could wear or brandish, to represent their local pride and connection to the area.” says Ronnie Land.

The L5P logo in the original and simplified versions are very popular and have become well recognized as the mark of the neighborhood commercial district.

“Over a decade later, the logo has caught on in ways not anticipate as the neighborhood and district has grown and continues to evolve. “ I see it not only on apparel, but tattooed on bodies, in pavement drawings and many other creative interpretations throughout the city. “ remarks the icon Atlanta artist known for his neighborhood images and logos.

In 2016, Land began to envision the emblem as a large, permanent, 3-dimensional structure that would stand in the heart of Findley Plaza as an inviting symbol of the diverse, eclectic community and business district that is Atlanta’s, one and only, Little Five Points. “ I look forward to seeing that vision realized.”

Land’s vision is becoming a reality in 2020, made possible by a Neighborhood Arts Grant from the City of Atlanta and partner Candler Park Neighborhood Association. Fabrication and design are underway. The sculpture will be lit and installed in the newly redesigned Findley Plaza sometime in the fall of 2020.

The L5P Alliance will be designing official L5P merchandise in 2020! Stay tuned.
