L5P to MDMU?

The City of Atlanta has been working to update its decades old zoning over the past several years through the Zoning 2.0 process. Also happening at this time is the development of Plan A - the city's Comprehensive Development Plan which is updated every 5 years. Through these planning efforts, Little 5 Points will change its designation from Neighborhood Commercial to Mixed Density Mixed Use (MDMU).

This does not change the character of the L5P district. MDMU refers to urban development that combines a variety of land uses (residential, commercial, retail, etc.) within a single area, often at varying densities, to create a more vibrant and walkable community. Little 5 Points already has this type of development pattern, and it's one that the community would like to retain.
