Help Us Bring Intown Cares to L5P
Thanks to the support of Councilmembers Farokhi and Bakhtiari, Little 5 Points is one step closer to making this program a reality. Starting this year, our district will have an Intown Cares case worker on site to build relationships with those in need and help them find safe housing. This kind of program has already seen success in East Atlanta, and recently the City of Atlanta passed legislation to expand the the Intown Cares pilot to more communties.
While the City is covering the majority of the $100,000 investment, the L5P Alliance needs to contribute $20,000 as part of the overall cost. Thanks to the Little 5 Points BID's (partner org to the CID) donation of $7,500 and Councilmember Farokhi's donation of $5,000, we are more than halfway there!
Now the L5P Alliance is reaching out to our community to raise the final $7,500. Help us close this funding gap so we can have the expertise needed on the ground to support safe housing for individuals living on our streets.
